What Is Full  CBD?

Full  CBD oil is the oil that is initially extracted from the buds, leaves and stems of the hemp plant. Full spectrum CBD gives you all of the valuable compounds found in hemp, including all of the cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, and some healthy fatty acids. Those cannabinoids include the two major cannabinoids, CBD (cannabidiol) and THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), as well as over a hundred minor cannabinoids, including CBG, CBN, and CBC. Hemp contains only trace amounts of THC (by law, less than 0.3%), which is not enough to be intoxicating.

What Is Delta-9 THC?

While there are different cannabinoids with THC in their names, delta-9 THC is the one we generally associate with the shortened name of THC. Tetrahydrocannabinol is one of the two major cannabinoids in cannabis and is the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana. While it is the cannabinoid that can get you high, delta-9 THC also has a wide range of wellness benefits.

The benefit of full spectrum CBD is that it allows users to experience the Entourage Effect, which is a natural phenomenon that occurs when multiple cannabinoids and other cannabis compounds are consumed together. When this happens, the various compounds actually make each other work much harder than they would naturally work on their own in the body’s endocannabinoid system. A 2005 study concluded that exposure to THC can suppress mast cell activation, which triggers the release of histamine. Though more research is certainly in order, this could suggest that THC can potentially be a powerful antihistamine, and be a useful product when dealing with allergies. However, be careful not to mix THC with other antihistamine products, because you could experience side effects that might make you dizzy or drowsy.
